An Evening of Painting Art and Guided Meditation
Welcome to an evening of self-expression, community, presence and fun!
For the first in-person physician wellness event in two years, we will start with a very brief meditation and then each create a small canvas painting to take home. Creating visual art has been shown to improve mindfulness and support coping with anxiety or stress. Priya Monahan, MD, will be leading the session on art and self-expression. Feel free to bring your own supplies but Dr. Monahan will provide brushes, paints and canvases. Please wear or bring old clothes.
