Risk Management Training and Events
CAP is committed to continually educating members on best practices to promote patient safety, reduce medical liability, and foster positive physician-patient relationships. Physician members and their staff can take advantage of myriad trainings and events that are led by experienced CAP Risk Management and Patient Safety Specialists – most of whom are RNs or JDs – or both.
CAP is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CAP designate a maximum of two hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for this in-person program. See below for more information about each program.
