Improving the Patient Experience and the Provider Experience with Mental Fitness Training

Description

The Positive Intelligence© program was developed by Shirzad Chamine from his experience as a Stanford University lecturer and executive coach in 2012. It has since undergone continued evolution and has been used by hundreds of corporations and hundreds of thousands of individuals worldwide. After taking the six-week program more than 80% of participants report better stress management, improved self-confidence, better management of mental and emotional energy and increased happiness. So far it has not been widely used in the healthcare environment, but Dr. Gideon Strich, our speaker, believes it has great potential to decrease stress and burnout, promote resilience and increase the ability to communicate with patients and staff. The program is both time efficient and economical and Dr. Strich has modified it to apply more specifically to healthcare professionals and executives. He will be presenting the conceptual framework, practice and science behind the program and he will offer attendees the first chance to use this program with me as their personal coach.
