The Cooperative of American Physicians (CAP) and the California Health Information Partnership and Services Organization (CalHIPSO) invite you to a dinner presentation to learn about EHR assistance, MACRA and HIPAA rules.
During the first part of this dinner, physicians will learn about CalHIPSO, a nonprofit founded by healthcare providers that helps physicians implement EHRs in their practices. CalHIPSO offers physicians assistance with meaningful use, and changes to Medicare payment coming through
MACRA. Representatives from CalHIPSO will be onsite at the dinner to help physicians sign up for assistance.
Part two of this presentation, presented by CAP Senior Risk Management and Patient Safety Specialist Allan Ridings will explore HIPAA security. Physicians can expect to:
- Understand health partnerships and potential security risks.
- Learn about the security and safety aspects in current HIPAA rules.
- Review the new HIPAA security measures rolled out in October.
