Cooperative of American Physicians Appoints Alfred De Leon to Vice President, Membership Services

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 27, 2015) - The Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. (CAP) announced today that Alfred De Leon has been appointed as the organization’s Vice President of Membership Services. For the past four years, Mr. De Leon has served as Senior Account Executive in the CAP Physicians Insurance Agency.

Effective May 1, 2015, Mr. De Leon will be responsible for the management of CAP’s Membership Services Department to ensure the delivery of excellent service for and retention of CAP physicians and groups.

Mr. De Leon has spent 26 years working in the insurance industry. For the past 16 years, he has held various roles within the medical professional liability arena including leading production teams, underwriting, customer service, brokerage services, and experience with a multitude of insurance product lines. Prior to joining CAP, Mr. De Leon worked for two years at NAS Insurance Services as a Senior Underwriter and Product Specialist marketing and underwriting multiple product lines. Previous to NAS, Mr. De Leon worked at CAP for six years as a Senior Underwriter in Membership Underwriting. He attended Woodbury University-Burbank, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
